Michelle focuses her practice on complex business transactions involving intellectual property, technology, and data, representing companies across industries, including cloud-computing/SaaS, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, e-commerce, hospitality, consumer products, and emerging technologies including AI and Web3. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), she assists clients in navigating the evolving regulatory landscape associated with data privacy and cybersecurity issues, including structuring comprehensive privacy compliance programs, advising on privacy by design in product development, and negotiating data related transactions.
Prior to joining CAS, Michelle practiced in the Atlanta and D.C. offices of several prominent, international AM Law 100 firms and served as in-house counsel with a leading telecommunications company.
Michelle lives with her husband, who is a surgeon specializing in gynecologic oncology, two sons, daughter, and three fluffy dogs.
